VIP Membership Terms & Cancellation Policy
If you enroll in a recurring subscription or VIP Membership, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis as described in the “Subscription Service / VIP Membership” section below until you cancel.
We are not responsible for any fees or charges that your bank or credit card issuer may apply. If your bank or credit card issuer reverses a charge to your credit card, we may bill you directly and seek payment by another method including a mailed statement.
7A. SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE / VIP MEMBERSHIP
I. Overview of Service
Prepared Hero may offer an optional recurring membership program (the “VIP Membership” or the “Service”). The Service provides eligible customers with certain ongoing benefits, which may include free or discounted products, exclusive offers, and other membership perks as described at the time of enrollment.
II. Free Trial and Automatic Conversion to Paid Membership
If you enroll in a free trial of the Service (the “Trial Period”), you will receive the VIP benefits described at checkout for the length of the Trial Period (for example, thirty (30) days) at no charge other than any applicable purchase you make at that time.
Unless you cancel before the end of the Trial Period, your VIP Membership will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the Trial Period, and the membership fee described at checkout (for example, USD $29.99 per month) will be charged to your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
III. Recurring Billing and Authorization
By enrolling in the VIP Membership, you expressly authorize Prepared Hero to charge the membership fee shown at checkout (plus any applicable taxes) to the payment method you provide:
- at the end of any Trial Period; and
- on a recurring basis at the beginning of each subsequent billing period (for example, monthly) until you cancel.
You acknowledge that the amount and frequency of the recurring charges will be disclosed to you at checkout and/or in your confirmation email, and may change in accordance with these Terms.
IV. Membership Benefits
The VIP Membership may include some or all of the following benefits, as described on the enrollment page and in your confirmation email:
- access to certain free or discounted services products or bundles;
- percentage discounts on select products or collections;
- early access to sales, limited-run products, or special events; and
- other perks or rewards that we may offer from time to time.
The exact benefits, eligibility criteria, value, and product list may change over time. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or substitute any benefit with one of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law. Any material changes will be communicated as described in Section 7A.8 (Changes to Fees and Benefits).
V. How to Cancel
You may cancel your VIP Membership at any time by using one of the following methods:
- through your online account, if this functionality is available;
- by emailing us at support@preparedhero.com; or
- by calling us at +1 (888) 457-2672 during our posted business hours.
Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your then-current billing period. You will continue to have VIP access and benefits until that time, and no further membership fees will be charged after your cancellation becomes effective.
VI. Refunds of Membership Fees
Membership fees are generally non-refundable once charged, except where required by applicable law or where we otherwise state in writing. Cancelling your VIP Membership stops future recurring charges, but does not automatically result in a refund of any membership fees that have already been charged, unless required by law.
VII. Duty to Maintain Accurate Payment Information
You agree to keep your payment method and contact information (including email address and billing address) current and accurate. If we are unable to charge your payment method for a membership fee, we may suspend or cancel your VIP Membership and/or ask you to provide a new payment method. We are not responsible for any fees or charges imposed by your payment provider.
VIII. Changes to Fees and Benefits
We may change the membership fee, billing period, or VIP benefits from time to time. If we make a material change to the membership fee or billing period, we will provide you with advance notice (for example, by email or through your account or on our Website) and the change will apply to the next billing period after the notice period. If you do not agree to the change, you should cancel your VIP Membership before the change becomes effective.
IX. Notice and Pre-Billing Reminders (where required)
Where required by applicable law, we will send you a reminder notice before your Trial Period converts to a paid subscription and/or before each renewal of your VIP Membership. The notice may include the amount to be charged, the renewal date, and a description of how to cancel. You are responsible for reviewing any such notices and cancelling if you no longer wish to continue your membership.
X. Termination by Prepared Hero
We may suspend or terminate your VIP Membership at any time if we believe you are using the Service in violation of these Terms, abusing any benefits, engaging in fraudulent or unlawful activity, or if we discontinue the Service. If we terminate your membership for convenience (and not due to your breach), we will refund any prepaid, unused membership fees in accordance with applicable law.
